Father Finn is best known as the author of 27 books for young people including Tom Playfair and Claude Lightfoot. He gave the Xavier University athletic teams the name Musketeers and the motto One for all, all for one. He lived from 1859 to 1928 and left his mark on Xavier University and the community it serves for all time.
